Our
Design Process

1. GET IN TOUCH

Get started by filling in an enquiry form, sending an email, or booking in for our free design consultation where I can answer any questions you may have and I can find out all about your special event!

2. ESTIMATE & BOOKING

Following your design consultation I will send you a personalised estimate based on what we have discussed. This number is flexible and is based on future design decisions. If you are happy with this and wish to secure me for your wedding or event date then I will send you a copy of our T&C's, and a contract. I require back a signed contract PLUS a booking fee £75 for weddings, £25 for events. This balance will be redeemed against your final invoice.

3. GROW YOUR VISION

This is where we bring your vision to life and create your pieces. From the info gathered in our consultation I will make 2-3 mock ups. From this you will select your favourite design and as your wedding or event begins to take shape and you make decisions we can reflect these in your pieces to make one cohesive design across your entire event. Your pieces will be revised twice as included in your estimate, any further revisions will be charged at £20 per time. It is your responsibility to provide the correct information and spelling. Once design approval has been given your items will be sent to print and Williams Design will not be responsible for any errors, you will still be liable to settle your entire invoice due to the personalised nature of the items.

4. ASSEMBLY

Now you have approved your design we send it to print! No further changes can be made to your design and your final invoice is made up, 50% of which is now due. Your pieces are thoroughly checked over before final assembly and packaging. Depending on size and complexity of the order this can take around 3 weeks We offer options for a DIY assembly (perfect bridal party activity with wine) or we can assemble your suites ready for you to address and send.

5. DELIVERY

We will notify you when your item is ready for shipping to you, at this point we require the remainder of your final invoice to be settled before it leave our premises. Items will be sent either with Royal Mail or DPD with tracking info provided to you.

When Should I Send Invitations?

Every wedding is different, there is no one rule fits all!

The balance here is to give your guests enough notice to make arrangements and be able to attend but also giving yourself enough time to chase RSVPs and confirm your final numbers with your venue before their deadline.

  • Are you getting married abroad? Or further away that your guests need overnight accommodation?

  • Are you getting married at the weekend or do your guests need to book leave at work?

  • Are you getting married during the summer months and want to let people know before they book holidays?
